Thank you @birthbags ・・・ Who has used or is intending to use Hypnobirthing?. Did it help? . In all honesty I was initially put off by the name, Hypnobirthing to me didn’t sound very grounded but the more I read and spoke to practitioners the more I realised that couldn’t be further from the truth, that it is a way of helping women to stay calm and in control. . Elida over at @hypnobirthingandme describes it as “a complete antenatal education which allows women to go into labour feeling empowered, aware of their options and therefore in control of their own birth experience. It is about focusing, breathing and working with your body to do exactly what it is designed to do”. . Having felt very out of control birthing my last baby, these techniques are definitely something I would learn if I do it again.
