Breastfeeding Mum

This picture makes me so very happy but also brings a little lump to my throat. Happy because breastfeeding worked for us even though at the start it was really hard, especially second time round. Emotional because we’re coming to the end of our feeding journey. Does anyone else get that??⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I see this picture after our feeding journey is done, I wonder how I will feel. Probably a mixture of emotions. Happy because that was our journey once, sad because it’s over and Hubby is happy with two girls ( as am I but..... ) or will I just be like oh there’s a lovely picture of a woman breastfeeding her baby. I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How did you feel when you stopped breastfeeding? Obviously I’ve done this before but I hoped we would have a second baby so it didn’t feel as hard that time and we weren’t feeding as much at this point as we are now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ALSO.....my parents arrived last night.....they are giving myself and Marcus a little break and we are off to Liverpool for the weekend but I haven’t been thinking about it much as I’m afraid for my boobs......and it’s my first time away from Jaz so I’m feeling anxious BUT it’s important for us to have some time together. It’s been a while!!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m bringing my pump.....I can’t remember the last time I pumped!!! If I was doing it again I would totally buy an @elvie. Who has one??⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Send your advice below 👇🏻⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And if you’re reading this and you didn’t breastfeed your baby.....remember fed is best. It doesn’t matter what journey we’ve had, we’ve all done an incredible job. I love you all and respect all you mums out there 😘
