(I’m posting this now because I’m a Mum and what I’ll be doing at midnight is catching some 💤) Have you made any new year resolutions? I always do and they always seem to go like this....I want to be better, I want to do better, I want to be nicer.....etc etc. But this year I don’t feel like making any new year resolutions. I want to start the new year appreciating everything I have. Appreciating my family and friends and being grateful for each and every one of them. I want to continue being me, I want to continue being the best Mum, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Cousin and Friend that I can be.
As I look back on 2019 I wonder where it went. I rang in 2019 with a new born baby and I was in my element. I was also working on growing my own business and feel very proud of everything I’ve achieved this year. I set myself goals, some which felt totally unrealistic but I succeeded and I intend to do the same for 2020. The power of the mind is incredible. Set your mind to something and you can do anything. Tomorrow is the first of January, a day of family, fun, love and laughter. Thursday is a brand new routine and instead of being cautious about it I’m going to embrace it. Time keeps going, and it seems to go even quicker when you get older and especially when you have kids but I want to go with it and make sure we live our best life. Have you got goals that you feel are unachievable?? Rubbish!!! It’s a new year. It’s a new start, if you want it to be. Grab the bull by the horns and go for it. You can thank me later 🤪
To all you lovely people who have supported me along the way, thank you. For all of you who have signed up to my course, thank you. And for all of you I will meet in 2020 to help you prepare for your baby to arrive, thank you too. Let’s make it a good one. Health and happiness to you all. The new year stands before us all like a new book waiting to be written.....do your best.
