Mum Life

Updated: Sep 26, 2019

I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: Dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the “doing” a little more and the “getting it done” a little less. Mom guilt....i reckon I think these words at least once a day. It’s hard sometimes to always remember this but I’m posting these wise words from @anna.quindlen as a reminder to us all. With life being so demanding and fast paced, it’s important for us to stop for a minute and enjoy these days. They will never again be as little as they were yesterday. Tonight we put the girls to bed (which only took 2 hours 🥴) and when everyone was settled I sat beside Jorja’s bed and watched her sleep wondering how did she get so big. But she did, and Jazmine will too. Soon. I’m lucky to have them and one day, one day, the tiredness will pass 😌 So for now, let the to do list wait and take the time to enjoy these kiddies. Good night ⭐️
