Third Trimester

In the final trimester pregnancy can become tiring. Sleep starts to become more difficult as it’s harder to get comfortable and you may find yourself having to pee more regularly during the night. But not long now until you get to meet your baby. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🥦 By 27 weeks your baby can open his/her eyes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🍆 By week 29 your baby’s bones, although soft, are fully developed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🛫 Most airlines will not let you fly after 36 weeks (or 32 weeks if you’re carrying twins.) You will need a letter from your doctor if you plan to fly after 28 weeks. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🍍 From 37 weeks you’re considered ‘term’, which means if your baby was born now he/she would not be premature. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🥬 You will have seen my earlier posts on due dates, there is no consistency globally. In the UK, your due date is at 40 weeks but less than 5% of babies are born on their due date. . . . . 📷 @ceeleah_and_the_small_humans
