As a parent, choosing a godparent for your child needs careful consideration and takes time. Sometimes it can be controversial as you both may have different ideas of who you want to choose but when you eventually decide it is a huge compliment to whoever you decide whether it’s friends or family. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For me, being asked to be a godparent is such a huge honour. As an Aunty I will always be there for my nieces but being a godparent on top of that is amazing.
