Well now, this photo is far from perfect isn’t it. My hand is in the way of the shot, food all over her vest, she’s eating the card, no other fancy props.....I mean 🤦🏼♀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But that’s not the point. The point is, it doesn’t always have to be the perfect shot does it. Of course it doesn’t. Actually, flaws are what make it more interesting if you ask me. I don’t know if you can see it but beside her left eye she has a scar from chicken pox which she got at 4 months old. She actually has 4 of them but that’s the most prominent 💔 I stressed about it so much but then I thought, what harm is it....she’s happy and healthy, isn’t that the main thing. The scar is part of her now and that’s what makes her her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ok but what has this got to do with hypnobirthing? Well, if you are reading this and you are preparing for a baby my message to you is a positive birth far outweighs a perfect one. The beauty of a hypnobirthing course is that you are so prepared for whatever path your birth takes. When you go into labour you and your birth partner will feel fully informed with full confidence in the ability of your body and mind.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So it may not be the perfect birth story whatever that is 🤷🏼♀️ but you can be damn sure that once all is said and done and your baby is in your arms, life feels pretty AMAZING.⠀
